Wolf Material Handling Systems designs, engineers, and manufactures systems and equipment for solid biomass gasification.

Gasification is a process of gasifying any material that contains carbon. Gasification thermally carbon-based materials, at 500-1500 degrees Celsius, with a limited supply of air or oxygen, into a synthetic gas, or syngas. The syngas can then be converted into useful products. Gasification has been around since the early 1880’s with coal being the primary feedstock gasified in the early decades. More recently though, commercial success of biomass gasification is developing environmentally sustainable processes for converting municipal solid waste, biomass, and other feedstocks into fuel, power and chemicals.
