Wolf Material Handling Systems designs, engineers and manufacturers biomass material handling systems and equipment.

The use of biomass for power, fuel and chemicals continues to increase around the globe. Biomass materials can also go through gasification producing synthetic gas and other co-products that significantly lower carbon intensity than traditional processes. Biomass sources can be wood, grass, silage, stover, construction & demolition debris, municipal solid waste, or many other organic matters. Individual properties vary based on species and how it is preprocessed, stored and transported. As a result, there are no set material handling standards for biomass.

Biomass handling equipment often includes rail loading and unloading, ship loading and unloading, truck loading and unloading, apron conveyors, belt conveyors, belt feeders, bucket elevators, chain conveyors, chain belt conveyors, drag conveyors, metering bins, screw conveyors, receiving hoppers, reclaimers, stackers, stacker reclaimers, truck dumpers, explosion protection, drying, storage, and vertical sidewall conveyors.
